Twelve years of building without decoration to hide behind.
Ambiant was founded on a simple premise borrowed from the original Bauhaus workshops: a building has to earn every line in it. We start every project by asking how someone will actually move through the space, where light needs to land, and what the site is already trying to do — before we ask what it should look like.
"The plan comes from the walk through it, not the elevation you'd hang on a wall."
That discipline shows up as honest material palettes, proportion sized to the human body rather than the render, and a refusal to specify anything — a moulding, a finish, a fixture — that doesn't also do a job.
CIRCLE / BLUE — the passive form: a courtyard, a stair, a room you
arrive into.
SQUARE / RED — the mass: the wall, the frame, what carries
load.
TRIANGLE / YELLOW — the force: the roof, the direction light is told
to move.

Concept through construction documents, tested in model before it's ever specified in material.

Build
On-site coordination with contractors and trades, start to close-out, with weekly site logs.

Deliver
Final walkthrough, a furnishing plan, and a set of as-built drawings you'll actually keep.
